  • Understands concept of leading edge
  • Install doors and windows
  • Install or apply all exterior finish work
  • Install interior doors and interior finishes, including all styles of moldings
  • Some joinery is helpful
  • Cabinetry installation
  • Think on your feet to find simple solutions to complex problems
  • Represent our team professionally both on the job and off
  • Ability to successfully pass on their knowledge to apprentice carpenters and mentor by example

  • Ability to teach up to journeyman level carpentry skillset

  • Ability to perform all tasks of a lead carpenter proficiently and a willingness to do so
  • Maintain communications and proper scheduling with all subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain a rapport and line of communication with clientele
  • Adhere to a tight project schedules to ensure job completion on time
  • Actively pursue product knowledge within context of our projects
  • Properly facilitate site work and prebuild tasks including, but not limited to: building placement, permitting process with any/all municipal, county, and state authorities, work orders for power companies, initiate placement and drilling of well, lot clearing and road building
  • Delegate tasks
  • Maintain a strong line of communication with management
  • Ability to seek and accept feedback
  • Oversee any/all phases of residential construction, home building, remodels, renovations, historic preservation, and light commercial
